A couple of days ago an ice storm hit the area. There was about half an inch of ice on trees, causing us and thousands of others to lose power. This photo was taken the following afternoon from our driveway after some of the ice had already melted.
Today I downloaded the first batch of pictures from my new motion sensor camera. Here’s a picture of a gray squirrel; I did not get as many good photos as I was hoping for so I’m moving the camera to a new location. Stay tuned.
11/11/2007–After hiking along the Appalachian Trail, we headed out to Linden Vineyards. This picture shows fall color did not peak until mid-November at some elevations/locations in Virginia.
