Freezing Fog and a Cobweb

Freezing fog is a condition where moisture from a cloud freezes on contact with a surface. On Christmas Day 2009, freezing fog coated some cobwebs in our breezeway:
Sometimes, freezing fog can create hazardous driving conditions. On December 14th 2009, freezing fog caused some black ice conditions in the suburbs of Washington, D.C.
