I’ve been closely following this snowstorm on Capital Weather Gang’s site. The snow totals appears to be within the forecast range for Virginia. This is a lot of snow, but I expect the Virginia Extremes record to continue to stand:
High Single Storm Snowfall
48.0 in
January 6-7, 1996
Big Meadows
Big Meadows is located along Skyline Drive in Virginia’s Shenandoah National Park.

I love hearing your voice! Nice snowfall. Wanna borrow my snowshoes? xxoo
Thanks!
Yes, I stopped by REI and Dick’s Sporting Goods on Thursday and they were both sold out of snow shoes!
I definitely want to be prepared for next winter, or perhaps even late-winter snow this season. Do you have cross country skis too?
