I recently posted that we were close to six feet (72 inches) of snow for the season. We picked up 5.25″ of snow at my location in the Blue Ridge Mountains today taking us up to 76 15/16ths. We were under a blizzard warning until 7:00p. Other areas of the state picked up a foot or more.

Preliminary observations also put Dulles Airport (IAD) above six feet for the year. Additionally, Washington DC broke the 1898-99 record of 54.4″.
