Over 80″ of Snow

In what was largely a non-event for most locations, light snow that began yesterday evening persisted through most of the day today at higher elevations (above 1600 ft) in parts of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Today’s high temperature was 33.1F and new snowfall accumulation from this event was 2.25″ bringing the Old Dominion Wildlife season-to-date total over 80″.

Accuweather.com reports that Fancy Gap, VA received 6.5″ of snow from this event.
