Canaan Valley’s Impressive Snow Totals

I recently reported measuring over 80″ of snow this season at my location in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. A little more than 70 miles to the west in West Virginia, Canaan Valley is now reporting over 246″ of natural snow this season.
My wife and I went skiing at Canaan Valley Resort a few years ago. It’s a nice state owned resort, not too far from the DC area.
