Crocuses | Old Dominion Wildlife

Yesterday was a beautiful spring-like day so we went on a short hike on the Dickey Ridge Trail from Front Royal into Shenandoah National Park. Although they are not native to North America, the crocuses were beautiful. Kristy took this photograph of the crocus flowers just past the first Skyline Drive crossing.

In other news, winter makes a return tonight with several inches of snow expected across portions of Virginia.
