Despite some significant cold spells, the winter of 2017-18 was our second one in a row featuring low snow totals. Interestingly, the biggest snowfalls this past season along the Blue Ridge of Northern Virginia occurred in March and December, not January or February. After waking up to a coating of snow on the deck yesterday, it appears Spring is finally here to stay this year.
