Some weather image highlights from this past year included:
Spring Wildflowers
Showy Orchis
I spotted some showy orchis in the woods behind the house this year, in addition to the usual bloodroot and yellow lady’s slippers. Prints of photographs are available here.
Also, Bob George was awarded Smoky Mountains National Park’s 2010 “Wildflower Artist of the Year” for his bloodroot painting. Affordable originals, prints, and notecards are available from bgillustrations.com.

There was a third photo from my recent bobcat trailcam series. Unfortunately, the top of the bobcat’s ears were out of the frame so this one isn’t quite as good as the other two.

I have been waiting a long time for something like this. A beautiful bobcat posed perfectly in front of my trailcam with good light conditions.
