My trailcam got a couple pictures of an eastern cottontail rabbit…
On the newest batch from the trailcam, there were some great bobcat shots which I will post later this week. Stay tuned.

I recently noticed some damage to our doormat. I was quite sure that the rapid wear and tear was not caused by the wiping of human feet.
What could cause this damage? I thought perhaps birds were using the fibers for nesting material or maybe a squirrel?
I set up my automatic trailcam to catch the culprit. See the results of the investigation after the jump.
After battling with squirrels, now a rabbit appears to be gnawing on the foundation mortar of our home. I believe the siding damage was already there thanks to the squirrels.
