The Virginia snowstorm of February 5th and 6th has pasted everything with snow. As of 9:00a, I measured 19.5″ of snow. Snow is expected to continue much of the day. Stay tuned for additional updates.

Sunday, January 10th, 2010A clipper system came through the night of January 7th, ending with a snow shower on the morning of January 8th. Total accumulation of 2″ restored the snow cover.
I took a short hike on the Appalachian Trail where this photo was taken.
