Daffodil bulbs are popular to plant for spring flowers…

Daffodil

White and Yellow Daffodil
While not a native plant, daffodils make nice plantings around the house since deer do not eat them. Daffodils are poisonous.

About a mile from the Mosby Camp, a couple of daffodils are growing right by the Appalachian Trail.

Near the Tom Sealock Spring along the Appalachian Trail, daffodils planted long ago continue to come up year after year. They were apparently planted along a walkway to a home which is now gone.
