On Independence Day this year, we were treated to a nice parade of bears through the backyard.  I previously published an image of a patriotic bear marching past our American flag, but it was actually only one of three bears in the parade.

First, at 6:14 pm, the first bear appeared (looking a bit mangy):

Moments later, this large black bear followed (same black bear as I photographed by the flag):

Then, at 7:03 pm, the final bear of the parade passed by:
