I found this hole next to our driveway. It looks like a black bear dug up a yellow jackets’ nest. They enjoy eating the yellow jackets and their larvae. Yummy!

It’s a little blurred due to movement, but I was pleased that the automatic camera captured its first bear image.

This a second photo taken shortly after the first along Rte 55 in Virginia. After posing for the camera, the cub went down the roadside bank.

This black bear cub was standing along Route 55 near Linden, Virginia this past Friday.

My wife took this nice picture through the front windshield of my car yesterday.
