My wife and I hiked the Harris Hollow Trail in Shenandoah National Park on Friday.  The bright fall color of this maple tree stood out along the trail.

Sassafras is a unique tree with leaves of three different shapes.  Sassafras provides a rainbow of fall color.

We’re starting to see some fall color here; Virginia Creeper has some of the earliest leaves to turn.  Virginia Creeper is a vine with clusters of five leaves which turn red in the fall.
