
This past Thursday, we picked up 3.5″ of snow and the girls enjoyed the snow day.
Unlike October snow, November snow has been a rarity over recent years here in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Northern Virginia in recent years. Today (11/27/2012) we finally picked up a quarter inch of snow this morning. The snow didn’t last long.
We’ve had measurable snow on location here in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Northern Virginia three of the last four years: 2009 2011 2012 Interestingly, we have not had any November snow during the same period. However, that could change this year as a Nor’easter is expected to form off the mid-Atlantic coast this Wednesday.
