Driving home yesterday evening I spotted this owl in a tree. We often hear owls at night but it’s not often I actually see one.

Last night, we stopped when we spotted this eastern screech owl in the road. The eastern screech owl can be gray or red. This the red morph. Note the bright yellow eyes.
