I took this picture on January 10th… I didn’t examine the tracks too closely, but think they are probably either mouse or vole tracks in the snow.

Now the snow cover is almost gone, but there is another weather event expected Thursday into Friday. Stay tuned for updates.

Rodent Tracks

I did not need my Scats and Tracks field guide to identify these squirrel tracks because I witnessed the squirrel lay them down. When bounding, the eastern grey squirrel can place it’s hind prints on it’s front prints leaving tracks like those seen here.
