Virginia Bluebells at Manassas National Battlefield
Blue Bells and More along the Bull Run–Occoquan Trail
Every year, we try to see some Virginia Bluebells when they are blooming during early April. Usually, we go to the impressive display at Bull Run Regional Park.
Manassas Battlefield National Park
This year, we instead went to Manassas National Battlefield Park. While maybe not quite as impressive as the bluebells farther downstream at Bull Run Regional Park, there is a nice display along Bull Run near the Stone Bridge. East of Rte 234, there is a parking area right off of U.S. 29 (between Manassas and Centreville).

My wife took this picture yesterday of some Virginia bluebells along Cub Run at Bull Run Regional Park.

My wife and I went to Bull Run Regional Park today to see the bluebells. It was an impressive site. They should still be looking good next weekend as well for anyone that wants to see for themselves.
