Here’s a new wildflower for my photo collection. These dutchman’s breeches were photographed near the Stone Bridge at Manassas National Battlefield Park.

Rue Anemone

During a hike on the Appalachian Trail today, I was not sure what these wildflower were. After consulting my Wildflowers book, I identified them as Rue Anemone. They are small wildflowers with color ranging from white to pinkish-blue.
