We spotted these wildflowers on a recent hike on the Fox Hollow Nature Trail in Shenandoah National Park. The loop trail starts across from the Dickey Ridge Visitor Center near the northern entrance to Shenandoah National Park.

This is another invasive plant seen along the roads of Virginia in spring. The flowers vary in color from purple to white.

Also known as winter cress, this is an invasive species frequently seen in spring along roads and in fields.
