Here’s another picture of a bloodroot flower.  This one shows the bloodroot’s leaves as well as the flower.

We went for a jog in Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains today and noticed that the bloodroot wildflowers are starting to bloom.

This picture shows some blackberry blossoms on a blackberry bush. Blackberry Blossom is also a popular bluegrass/old-time song.

The leaves of False Solomon’s Seal look very much like the leaves of Solomon’s Seal, but the blooming flowers are very different.
