My wife spotted some pink lady’s slippers off of the Jawbone Gap Trail in the George Washington National Forest during our backpacking trip last weekend. Here’s a closeup shot.

Near the Tom Sealock Spring along the Appalachian Trail, daffodils planted long ago continue to come up year after year. They were apparently planted along a walkway to a home which is now gone.
