We’re starting to see some fall color here; Virginia Creeper has some of the earliest leaves to turn. Virginia Creeper is a vine with clusters of five leaves which turn red in the fall.

While jogging with my wife, I spotted this snake catching some rays on a gravel road.

I found this hole next to our driveway. It looks like a black bear dug up a yellow jackets’ nest. They enjoy eating the yellow jackets and their larvae. Yummy!
